Clear. Robust aromas of warm honeyed barley cereal and cream with a supple dryish medium-to-full body and a vanilla praline, flour, dark toast, and shellac accented finish with a coppery tang. Lots of artisan and slightly rustic pot still character.

Still Waters single malt vodka is a rich, creamy, malty, clear spirit that qualifies as vodka only by definition. To the discerning palate, this is malted-barley eau-de-vie. It’s a drink that once tried declares itself as decidedly moreish. Grey Goose may have a nicer bottle, but Still Waters single malt vodka, which is triple distilled to 95% alcohol, and charcoal filtered, shows just how much flavour high-strength distillate can retain when crafted with care by people who think whisky.

The nose is sweet and fruity, a mix of tropical fruits and green grapes, while the body is soft and creamy-sweet, with what seems like vanilla notes and a soft, fruity roundness. At $36.95, this is an immensely sippable bargain, even at room temperature.

Still Waters first distilled product, a single malt vodka, is a good, clean vodka, as good as any other premium vodka on the market. It's triple distilled and chill filtered, but still has a subtle hint of malt character. Refreshingly there are no hokey marketing gimmicks attached to the product.
